AUDITION AGE/GRADE REQUIREMENTS:
Students in 4th grade through 12th grade
(2024-2025 school year)

(All students will stay for their full audition block time)
All 7th-12th grade students: 10:00am-1:00pm
All 4th-6th grade students: 2:00-5:00pm

CALLBACKS: Sunday, December 8. 2025 between 2:00-9:00pm

AUDITION MATERIALS:
Provided after registration (approximately one week prior to auditions).

REHEARSAL INFORMATION & AVAILABILITY:
All rehearsals are scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays except for the final MANDATORY Tech and Dress rehearsals (see below). We ask all students auditioning to fill out a rehearsal availability form for the show and bring it with you to the audition.

MANDATORY TECH, DRESS, AND PERFORMANCE DATES:
TECH: Mon. 03/31/25 - 4:30-9:00PM @ ATWAS Studio
TECH: Tues. 04/01/25- 4:30-9:00pm @ Macomb Center
TECH: Wed. 04/02/25- 4:30-9:00pm @ Macomb Center
DRESS: Thurs. 04/03/25 - 4:30-9:00pm @ Macomb Center
DRESS: Fri. 04/04/25 - 4:30-9:00pm @ Macomb Center
SHOWS : Sat. 04/05/25 - 11:00am & 3:00pm @ Macomb Center
SHOW: Sun. 04/06/25 - 2:00pm @ Macomb Center
COST:
$250.00 paid in two installments.
Installment 1: $50.00 audition deposit. If you attend the audition and are not cast in the show, ATWAS will fully refund your $50.00 deposit. (See Registration and Refund Policies for more information)
Installment 2: $200.00 balance due immediately when cast in the show. We will send an email with the cast list and a link to our payment page which will take you to PayPal to pay the final balance. Payment in full is due within 48 hours of the cast list being posted. If you have not paid the remaining balance, we will re-cast the role.
REGISTRATION & SHOW POLICES:

Audition registration MUST be completed and paid by Sunday, December 1, 2024. After that date, audition registration will be closed.

As noted, your $50 registration fee will be applied to the $250.00 production fee if you are cast in the show.

If you are NOT cast in the show and participated in the audition process, you will receive a $50 refund.

Should the response to our open audition process be sufficient enough to negatively impact our production abilities, we reserve the right to close registration early in part or fully, based on our production needs.

We will not be able to cast you if you have to miss any MANDATORY rehearsals, or performance dates/times. Missing these dates and/or times may result in recasting your roll and there will be no refunds.
REFUND POLICES

If you register and notify us via email that you will opt out of the audition, you will receive a registration refund, less a $20.00 cancellation fee. However, that email must be received one week before your audition date.

Any cancellations after the one-week cut-off or audition “no shows” will not be eligible for any refund.

If you are not cast in the show and participated in the audition process, you will receive a $50 refund.

If you audition and get cast in the show, but choose not to accept the roll or participate at anytime, you lose any and all payments that were made.

Once you are cast and final payment is received, there are no refunds.
Upon registration submission, you will receive a registration payment confirmation & email and are on our Audition Roster.
If you are planning on auditioning for Madagascar Jr, we highly encourage you to come out and see Junie B. Jones Jr. at the Macomb Center on November 3, 2024. This will give you an idea of the quality and type of production in which you will be auditioning.
